On 3 July 2024, several drone strikes (of origin unspecified by IAEA) injured 8 nuclear power plant workers at the electrical sub-station of the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant in Enerhodar. The strikes also started fires in forest near the ZNPP switchyard. The head of the Russian nuclear authority called the strikes a Ukrainian attack.
