The Israeli Air Force eliminated Hezbollah operative Meitham Mustafa Altaar, a senior engineer in the terror group's Aerial Defense Array. The strike took place in the Baalbek area, deep in northeastern Lebanon. Meitham took part in the planning and carrying out of numerous terror attacks against Israel and also flew to Iran multiple times, where he acquired technical knowledge that helped Hezbollah build its rocket arsenal.
