The Wisconsin Department of Health was notified by the University of Wisconsin-Madison that they lost components of a radio synthesis device containing 70 Ci of H3 and 20 grams of depleted Uranium in the form of UT3 disks. The material was presumably lost via improper disposal after it was packaged into a metal drum for disposal, though this isn't known for sure.
