The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection reported that a load of scrap metal from the John Blewett company in Howell, NJ set off radiation alarms and was returned. John Blewett found "what appeared to be the instrument panel from a World War II era plane" with a radium gauge. The panel and workers were decontaminated and the material is awaiting proper disposal.
