The Nuclear Security Authority (ASN) was informed that a device used for the analysis of Lead fluorescence in paints was stolen from inside a vehicle on April 23 2014 in Chernton-le Pont, France. The device contains radioactive source CD109 and was inside of a suitcase in an operator’s stationed vehicle when it was stolen.
