Seven radioactive calibration check sources were discovered to have been stolen from the former Naval Air Station Brunswick some time between 5/25/18 and 6/4/18. The sources were housed in a locked safe bearing radioactive warnings kept inside a locked, Navy-owned bunker. Tetra Tech EC, Inc. was performing work at the site and reported the theft and absence of the safe upon discovery.
