Romeo Rim Inc., in Michigan, was scrapping older equipment when it received a call from a steel recycler, which informed them that the scrap material contained a cesium source. The equipment had previously been used to measure the amount of nucleation in the plastic manufacturing process. The device was later recovered by RAM services. A wipe test indicated that the source was not leaking. The device will be sent to Texas for disposal
