On June 23, 2015, Lakeland Plastics in Mundelein, IL reported a missing static eliminator. The licensee found out that the device was missing when its lease for renewal came. The licensee believed that the device, last used in March, is still at the facility. Lakeland Plastics has improved its check out procedures as a preventative measure. The investigation to locate the device started on June 11, 2015, and is still ongoing.
