On July 21, 2104 the state of Colorado was notified over a stolen generally licensed device. On June 25, 2014, the general license owner, Rocky Mountain Recycling, parked his car overnight in Dallas, Oregon, at which point the analyzer device containing 30 milliCuries of AM241 was stolen from the parked vehicle. Following the filing of a police report for the stolen material in the city of Dallas, Oregon, the investigation over the missing material is ongoing.
