On January 13, 2014, a Troxler 3440 moisture density gauge was stolen from the bed of a truck at NOVA Engineering and Environmental, LLC in College Park, Georgia. The thief cut the chain that locked the gauge to the bed of the truck, while the gauge operator left it unattended at the work site. The gauge's source activity was 8 mCi CS137 and 40 mCi AM241.
