A device containing an IR192 source was reported missing to the police on September 12, 2014. The device was reported to have been "lost" at an inn within Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. On September 18, 2014 the device was located by the police at a house in Vuon Lai Street, in Tan Phu District within Ho Chi Minh City. A 20-year old man living in the house said that his friend gave him the device and then left. The HCM City Department of Science and Technology is handling the device, and the police has now stated that this incident is being treated as a theft.
