Licensee of NI63 electron capture detector (ECD) reported its loss to the state of Oregon on June 1, 2012. The source was used in a gas chromatograph (GC) device. The licensee's last known possession of the source was on November 1, 2011, during a 6-month wipe test. The GC was sent to Far West Fiber Metal Recycling around the first days of 2012, where it is believed the source was in the machine during time of disposal.
