A thief stole a radioactive device from the back of a truck in an oilfield in Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada. The device is used to evaluate geological formations underground, and was removed from its case in the back of the truck sometime between October 4, 2014 and October 6, 2014. The police are urging the public to report any knowledge of the incident to the authorities
