In a Swedish nuclear research facility an accident resulted in the unintentional release of radioactive material. A leak in a hot cell contaminated a closed area of the lab. No individuals were exposed to the radioactive material and the contaminated items have been properly disposed of. An investigation into the event is underway as of the report date.
