Five workers inspecting a nuclear research facility in Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan, were exposed to radioactive materials when a plastic bag covering powdered uranium and plutonium broke, releasing radioactive material into the air. All five seem to have been gotten radioactive substances into their bodies, at least four through inhalation. They are being treated to remove the radioactive materials from their bodies.
