On January 21, 2013, a report was issued in which a canister marked as containing radioactive markings was discovered in Chatelherault Country Park in Hamilton, Scotland. The canister was described as a black drum with a five inch diameter. The area was cordoned off and a scientific advisor and hazardous material officer confirmed that there was no evidence of alpha, beta, or gamma particles.
