During a procedure at a lab, a glass ampoule containing 47 MBq of AM-241 broke. The material contaminated the lab and several items within it. The lab conducted a thorough cleaning of the area and disposed of the contaminated material. The individuals exposed have undergone medical procedures designed to test radiation exposure.
