Building and Earth Sciences discovered a gauge was missing on June 7, 2013 after being stolen from the back of a truck during the prior night. A private citizen later discovered the gauge on the side of the road. The source rod of the gauge was still intact upon discovery. This type of gauge typically contains 8 mCi CS137 and 40 mCi AM241.
