A union leader working at a nuclear power plant was suspected of being poisoned with heavy water. After drinking the water the individual attempted to leave the facility but set off radiation alarms. Water in the individual's water bottle was found to be heavy water instead of regular, tap water. The individual has since obtained medical care and is unlikely to suffer any negative health impacts. Authorities are investigating the incident and believe he was intentionally poisoned.
