On January 29, 2013, the Environmental Prosecutor's Office found regulatory violations while inspecting the Seversky granite quarry in Yekaterinburg, Russia. The inspectors discovered that the quarry had been using six unlicensed sealed sources of ionizing radiation, which risk exposure to people. The quarry must dismantle these sources.
