A technician had a Troxler moisture/density gauge locked in the trunk of his vehicle when the technician's brother took the vehicle for a "joy ride". The vehicle was reported to police as stolen, and was pulled over and recovered "no more than a half hour" after it fell out of control. The gauge was undamaged, and it is not suspected that the brother of the technician had intentions to steal the radioactive equipment when he got into the vehicle.
