A surface was discovered to have been contaminated with Cobalt-60 during a routine safety inspection. The material was noticed by employees at the facility who confirmed it was radioactive. The material was safely cleaned and disposed of shortly after its discovery. As of the report date, an investigation is underway to determine the source of the contamination.
