On August 19, 2013, Dangjin factory operated by Hyundai Steel Co. reported it cannot find the radiological material for one of its moisture/density gauge during a periodic inspection. There is no evidence for physical tampering and KINS' investigation concluded it melted due to natural causes while it was being transported to a furnace.
