A moisture density gauge was stolen from Murillo Company Geotechnical employee's vehicle. It is unclear when the gauge was stolen from the vehicle on the way to a work location in Houston, but the tailgate of the vehicle was opened and the security chain had been cut. The gauge contained radioactive sources CS137 and AM241/BE. A passerby later found the unlocked gauge still inside of its transport container on the side of the road.
