A licensee discovered their Niton gun was missing and informed authorities. The Niton gun is believed to have been missing since 2014, however the licensee only informed authorities in October 2017. Given that the half-life is 462.6 days it would have decayed down to 0.01618 mCi and does not pose a health risk.
