A General License Niton XRF (X-Ray Fluorescence) Device containing a CD109 source was reported missing from the licensee’s Detroit, Michigan facility on December 12, 2014. The device is thought to have been thrown out accidentally with waste intended for recycling. Searches for the device have yielded no results, and the device remains missing.
