A garbage truck belonging Burrtec Waste Industries set off a radiation alarm at a disposal facility. The truck was quarantined for four days until its contents were examined. Investigators found a "piece of metallic object" that contained Ra-226. The rest of the waste was deemed radiation free and disposed of normally.
