A boy, identified as Hareth Ibrahim al-Allan from Raqqa city, was killed on June 26, 2024, amid a shootout between armed local residents of Raqqa city and Syrian National Army (SNA) members. Hareth was killed while he was in his workplace at a pharmacy in Slouk town in northern rural Raqqa governorate. Two other civilians were also injured during the shootout. The area is under the control of the SNA. The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) has not yet been able to determine with of the two sides was responsible for Hareth’s death. SNHR condemns what happened. The controlling forces bear responsibility for holding the perpetrators accountable.
