In April 9th, 2003, a nuclear gauge was stolen from a pick up truck while parked in front of owner offices. A dennounce was made by the owner to the National Police. The nuclear gauge was inside its normal transport package. The radioactive sources inside the gauge are 296 MBq of Cs-137 and 1,48 GBq of Am-Be. The radiation level around the nuclear gauge are nearly 50 uSv/h at most.
The nuclear gauge was unauthorized by the regulatory body.
