On 21 May 2024, near Taung Pu village (Myeik township, Myeik district, Tanintharyi region), a combined force of the Kayin Force, Taw Bone Gyi People's Defense Force, People's Defense Force - Palaw (PaKaPha) and the Tanintharyi Yoma Force attacked five more military vehicles coming back from Tanintharyi town with mines at around 5:30 pm. Casualties unknown.
