On 25 May 2024, in Acevedo (Huila), two armed individuals on a motorcycle threw a grenade at a coffee shop in front of the bus terminal. A woman, who is also the business's owner, and her son were injured by the explosion. The attack was carried out by suspected FARC dissidents to pressure for extortion payments. The victim had been intimidated to pay extortion and had been the target of another explosive attack on 17 May 2024 (coded separately). There were no fatalities.
