On 27 May 2024, at the exit of Ye-U town (Ye-U township, Shwebo district, Sagaing region), the People's Defense Force - Ye-U (PDF Shwebo District Battalion - 14) attacked a Myanmar military Shwe Kyee Min checkpoint with four bombs attached to drones at about 4:45 pm. Casualties unknown.
