On 30 May 2024, in Nat Lawng village (Kyaukkyi township, Taungoo district, Bago-East region), 120 mm heavy artillery shells fired by the Myanmar military troops LIB-307 landed in the village and killed an 8-year-old child. The shelling also injured a 45-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man.
