Missile event in Yemen on Thu 30th May 2024

On 30 May 2024, in the late evening, UK Royal Air Force forces conducted 2 raids/strikes with Typhoon jets on a set of Houthi facilities in Ghulayfiqah (Ad Durayhimi, Hudaydah). There were no fatalities or injuries. This was part of a joint US-UK operation that day (the fifth since January 2024) that struck Houthi targets at 7 locations that included drone control facilities, drone storage facilities, surface-to-air weapons facilities, command and control facilities, missile launchers, and a Houthi vessel. Houthi forces reported a total of 13 raids that resulted in 16 fatalities and 42 injuries including civilians noting that all fatalities and most of the injuries took place at Al Hudaydah radio tower building and in As Salif port in Al Hudaydah while 1 injury took place in Sanaa city.
