On 1 June 2024, in Yoe Ta Yoke village (Ponnagyun township, Sittwe district, Rakhine state), the military conducted airstrikes with Y-12 aircraft at around 10:15 am, hitting and killing a 10-year-old boy and a 26-year-old IDP woman, and injuring 11 others at the scene. Among the 11 injured, a 43-year-old woman died from her injuries on the night of 1 June, and a 48-year-old woman died from her injuries on 2 June 2024. A total of fatalities coded as 4.
