On 4 June 2024, in Khin Shey (Taung Su) village (Pauk township, Pakokku district, Magway region), the Myanmar military conducted an airstrike and dropped 500-lb bombs around 10 am without an armed clash occurring which fell and exploded on a clinic. A clinic and some houses nearby were destroyed. Separately, the military troops stationed in the No.24 military equipment factory fired heavy weapons. 2 locals were injured and some cows were killed. Locals were forced to flee as the military conducted airstrikes and fired heavy weapons.
