On 8 June 2024, an IED planted by unidentified gunmen along the Izra' - Bisr Elharir road in rural Dara detonated in conjunction with a second IED planted along the Maliha al Atash - Bisr Elharir road detonating, killing and injuring several regime-affiliated 12th armored brigade members along the Izra' and Bisr Elharir road and killing regime members along the Maliha al Atash - Bisr Elharir road who were conducting sweeping operations. Unspecified fatalities coded as 10 and split as follows: Izra' 5 Bisr Elharir 5. 5 fatalities.
