On 11 June 2024, in Manton township (Pa Laung Self-Administered Zone, Shan-North state), a 16-year-old IDP boy stepped on a mine near the old camp of the Myanmar military's No.130 camp while he was looking for mushrooms. He lost one of her legs and was taken to the Manton general hospital.
