On 12 June 2024, in Sin Thay village (Singu township, Pyinoolwin district, Mandalay region), the Myanmar military stationed in Taung Inn village fired 120mm artillery rounds into the village at about 1:30 pm. Khit Thit Media reported that two civilians were killed by artillery shells, while the DVB reported that three were killed. Fatalities coded as 2 using the lowest estimates.
