On 28 November 2020, an unidentified explosive device exploded between the villages of Hassouna Bir and Ibn Shugidan in the Shurah district, south of Mosul. The explosion targeted an agricultural vehicle, which resulted in the death of a civilian and the serious injury of its driver.
