On 29 November 2020, 1 policeman was killed and 4 wounded in a Taliban-planted IED that hit a police van in Shah-Mirza area of Khaniqa district, Jowzjan province. VoJ reported that 4 pro-government militia (Arbakis) were killed and 2 wounded in the attack. Fatalities coded as 1 (VoJ reported 4 fatalities).
