On 30 November 2020, JNIM militants fired a mortar and rocket barrage against the joint MINUSMA and French forces camp in Kidal (Kidal, Kidal). The projectiles fell in and around the camp perimeter. The attack caused material damages. No casualties were reported. JNIM claimed responsibility via its media wing Al Zallaqa.
