The Press Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), General Prosecutor's Office, and Mine Action Agency (ANAMA) of the Republic of Azerbaijan informs that on June 20, 2024, a #landmine incident occurred in the liberated territory of Horovlu village in the Jabrayil region.

The "Man" truck driven by Ragib Nuruyev, a resident of Goranboy district, born in 1991, who works in the field of agriculture, hit an anti-tank mine in an area not cleared of landmines.

As a result of the incident, the driver suffered various injuries.

The Jabrayil district prosecutor's office is conducting an investigation.

ANAMA, the MIA, and the General Prosecutor's Office once again urge citizens to adhere to safety regulations, pay attention to landmine warning signs, and not to enter unfamiliar areas!
