A terraced house in Handen, Haninge, has been fired upon with several shots, but no one is said to have been injured. Police are now working on site to find a suspect, including by helicopter.

At 19:00 on Tuesday, several calls were received about explosions in Handen. A terraced house is said to have been hit by gunfire. Windows and doors have also been hit, but the police do not want to say if anyone was supposed to have been in the home.

The police are on site with several patrols, including a helicopter.

- We work in parallel in two stages. Partly it is about keeping the crime scene intact, securing traces and catching witnesses. Then it's about locating the perpetrator, trying to find out which escape route was used, for example, says Daniel Wikdahl at the police.

A preliminary investigation into serious weapons crime has been launched, but no one has been arrested.
