A shooting occurred on Monday evening next to a playground at Karlslund in Landskrona. On Tuesday morning, there was no victim or suspect.

During the evening and night, the police cordoned off the playground and made some findings, but do not want to go into more detail about what these may be.

- But they confirm that there has been a shooting. The cordon has been lifted and today we are knocking on doors in the area, says Eva-Lotta Hermansson Truedsson at the police.

Argument occurred

Several people are said to have been at the scene but left in connection with the shooting. There must have been a fight just before.

- We have callers who alert about a disturbance at the site and after we receive this, we receive information about shooting, says Peter Martin, officer on duty.

No suspicion

The matter is being investigated as attempted murder and serious weapons offences, but there are still many uncertainties that need to be investigated.

- We have no plaintiff and no suspect. We look at previous events to see if there may be a connection and which people may be involved. But right now it is too early to say if there is anything, says Eva-Lotta Hermansson Truedsson.

In a residential area

Eva-Lotta Hermansson Truedsson says this about a shooting at a playground:

- It is bad that it happens at a playground at all. It is an open area and people live around it. It is not entirely unusual for young people to gather around playgrounds in the evenings.
