Anti Air
Anti Air event in Sudan on Thu 13th June 2024
13th June 2024
MEDIA STATEMENT
Early this morning, our courageous Rapid Support Forces (RSF) soldiers successfully brought down a warplane belonging to the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and its extremist allies linked to the former regime. The aircraft had been engaged in dropping barrel bombs on innocent civilians in various cities all across Sudan. The wreckage of the burning warplane was discovered scattered to the east of the city of El Fasher.
Alongside its terror-driven minders from the National Congress Party and its allied mercenaries, the SAF has relentlessly bombed El Fasher, dropping more than 20 barrel bombs daily. This has resulted in the deaths of hundreds of civilians and the widespread destruction of infrastructure and homes.
The RSF is steadfastly committed to resolving this conflict in favor of the Sudanese people, fulfilling their aspirations for security, peace, freedom, and democracy, and rebuilding our country on new and just foundations.
