On 20 May 2024, near La Thar village (Myeik township, Myeik district, Tanintharyi region), the combined troops of the Tanintharyi Yoma Force, Kayin Force - Tanintharyi, Taw Bone Gyi People's Defense Force and People's Defense Force - Palaw (PaKaPha) attacked the Myanmar military truck convoy that was transporting provisions with mines at around 11:30 am near Rathe Daung area. 3 trucks were destroyed. Casualties unknown.
