Rocket event in Donetsk, Andriivka area, Ukraine on Tue 7th May 2024

Over the past day, 64 combat clashes have occurred in the combat zone. The Russians launched one missile attack, 40 airstrikes, and 72 attacks from multiple-launch rocket systems. Details: On the Kupiansk front, Ukrainian forces repelled 11 Russian attacks near the settlements of Synkivka, Pishchane (Kharkiv Oblast) and Stelmakhivka (Luhansk Oblast), where the Russians, backed by air support, attempted to improve their tactical positions. On the Lyman front, the Defence Forces repelled two attacks near the settlements of Nevske (Luhansk Oblast). On the Bakhmut front, the Defence Forces repelled 10 Russian attacks near the settlements of Verkhokamianske, Vyimka, Spirne, Rozdolivka, Ivanivske, Novyi and Andriivka (Donetsk Oblast), where the Russians, backed by air support, attempted to improve their tactical positions. On the Avdiivka front, Ukrainian forces repelled 18 Russian attacks near the settlements of Oleksandropil, Novooleksandrivka, Progres, Yevhenivka, Novoselivka Persha, Umanske, Pervomaiske and Netailove (Donetsk Oblast), where the Russians, backed by air support, attempted to dislodge the Ukrainian units from their positions. On the Novopavlivka front, the Defence Forces continue to hold the Russians back near the settlements of Krasnohorivka, Kostiantynivka, Vodiane and Urozhaine (Donetsk Oblast), where the Russians, backed by air support, made seven attempts to breach the Ukrainian defences. On the Orikhiv front, the Russians launched four attacks on Ukrainian positions near Staromaiorske (Donetsk Oblast) and Robotyne and to the northwest of Verbove (Zaporizhzhia Oblast). On the Kherson front, the Russians continued their attempts to dislodge the Ukrainian units from their positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River. Over 24 hours the Russians, backed by air support, launched two attacks on the Ukrainian forces near the settlement of Krynky (Kherson Oblast), but to no avail.
