Rocket event in Donetsk, Andriivka area, Ukraine on Tue 7th May 2024

The Russians have attacked on seven fronts, with most attacks occurring on the Avdiivka and Bakhmut fronts. A total of 97 combat clashes have taken place at the front over the past day. The Russian attacks have killed and injured civilians in Ukraine and damaged several private residential houses, as well as other civilian infrastructure facilities." Details: The settlements of Hremiach (Chernihiv Oblast); Oleksiivka, Minakove, Bilopillia and Vorozhba (Sumy Oblast); Zolochiv, Petropavlivka and Borova (Kharkiv Oblast); Stelmakhivka and Bilohorivka (Luhansk Oblast); Andriivka, Druzhba, Prohres, Stara Mykolaivka, Kalynove, Novooleksandrivka, Ivanivka, Novoselivka Persha, Sokil, Vovche, Yevhenivka, Novopokrovske, Antonivka, Vodiane and Urozhaine (Donetsk Oblast); and Chervonyi Maiak and Ivanivka (Kherson Oblast) were hit by airstrikes. Over 120 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson and Mykolaiv oblasts came under Russian artillery fire. On the Kupiansk front, Ukrainian troops repelled 14 Russian attacks near the settlements of Synkivka, Pishchane and Berestove (Kharkiv Oblast) and Stelmakhivka (Luhansk Oblast). On the Lyman front, Ukraine’s Defence Forces repelled seven Russian attacks near the settlements of Nevske and Serebrianka Forest (Luhansk Oblast), as well as Terny and Yampolivka (Donetsk Oblast). On the Bakhmut front, Ukrainian troops repelled 17 Russian attacks near the settlement of Bilohorivka (Luhansk Oblast) as well as Verkhnokamianske, Vyimka, Rozdolivka, Novyi, Klishchiivka and Andriivka (Donetsk Oblast). On the Avdiivka front, Ukrainian troops repelled 31 attacks near the settlements of Novooleksandrivka, Novopokrovske, Sokil, Umanske, Yasnobrodivka, Netailove and Nevelske (Donetsk Oblast). On the Novopavlivka front, Ukraine’s Defence Forces are continuing to hold back the Russians near the settlements of Krasnohorivka, Paraskoviivka, Kostiantynivka, Vodiane and Urozhaine (Donetsk Oblast), where the Russians tried to break through Ukrainian defences 15 times. On the Orikhiv front, the Russians attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders near the settlement of Staromaiorske (Donetsk Oblast) and Robotyne (Zaporizhzhia Oblast) six times. On the Kherson front, the Russians are persisting in their intention to drive Ukrainian troops from their footholds on the Dnipro River's left (east) bank. Russian troops mounted three unsuccessful attacks on Ukrainian positions over the past 24 hours. Meanwhile, Ukraine's Air Force hit 11 areas where Russian military personnel were concentrated and Ukraine's Rocket Forces and Artillery struck two artillery systems belonging to the Russians. In addition, Ukraine’s air defence destroyed a Kh-59 guided missile.
