An incident involving the use of weapons occurred on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border.

Not far from the settlement of Ak-Bosogo, Leilek district, Batken region, a conflict occurred over illegal grazing of livestock on the territory of Kyrgyzstan. A citizen of Tajikistan, in response to comments from border guards and requests to take away livestock, used firearms. Border guards fired warning shots into the air.

There were no casualties. A meeting of the border services of both sides is planned regarding the incident.
